There's condensation between the panes — do I need to replace the whole window? +

No. Fogging between the glass panes means the glazing unit's seal has failed — not the frame. We replace only the glazing unit: it's removed using glazing beads, and the frame and reveals stay completely untouched. Takes 1.5–2 hours once the new unit is ready.

There's mould on the window reveal — is the window to blame? +

Most likely yes. Warm indoor air passes through the installation joint, cools against the cold wall, and condenses. The reveal gets damp from the inside and mould follows. The fix is sealing the installation joint — not painting over it. More on window draughts in this article.

Is repairing an aluminium window more expensive than a PVC one? +

PVC hardware is cheaper and more widely available. Aluminium systems — especially balcony doors — typically use Roto hardware, which costs more, though the adjustment fee is the same. Full hardware replacement on an aluminium door runs about 40–80 GEL more than on a PVC window.
