Window Glass Replacement in Tbilisi
CityHandyman replaces double glazing units from 250 GEL — master arrives across all of Tbilisi within 2–3 hours. Manufacturing takes 3–7 days.
4 reasons to book double glazing replacement with CityHandyman
The unit fits first time — measured to the millimetre
The master takes an exact measurement on site. CityHandyman cuts each unit with a 2 mm gap around the perimeter — the glass seats cleanly, with no rework. Even a 1–2 mm error means the unit won't seat in the rebate, or cracks when the beading is pressed in.
Frame and reveals stay undamaged
The master removes the beading with a spatula — no sudden force, no scratches on the profile, no chips on the reveals. CityHandyman has completed more than 500 jobs since 2022.
Your new unit is ready in 3–7 days
The factory manufactures each unit to the exact size in 3–7 working days. While you wait, the master temporarily secures the old unit or fits a cover panel — no draught, no open gap.
How window glass replacement works
From your first message to a finished window — five steps, most of which happen without any effort on your part
| Service | Price | What the master does |
|---|---|---|
| Single-pane glazing unit replacement (window) | from 250 GEL | The master removes the beading, takes out the old unit, measures the rebate to the millimetre, and fits the new glazing unit. |
| Glazing unit replacement in a balcony door | from 400 GEL | The master removes the old glass unit, installs the new one, and checks the hinge alignment. |
| Upgrade to double-pane unit | on request | The master checks the frame rebate, measures the opening, and installs the new double-pane unit. |
| Upgrade to low-e (energy-saving) glass | on request | The master installs a low-e glass unit — it cuts heat loss through the window by 30–40% compared to standard glazing. |
| On-site measurement | free | A CityHandyman master comes to any address in Tbilisi within 1–3 hours and takes precise measurements before the unit is ordered. |
The cost of the glazing unit itself is calculated separately. The master quotes the total price — labour and materials — after the on-site measurement.

I want to thank the team for replacing the glazing unit in our flat. Master Alexander quickly helped prepare the paperwork for the insurance company, came out for measurements promptly, and 3 days later the unit was ready. He and Roman delivered and installed it in literally 5 minutes — neat, fast, and done properly. Worth mentioning that not everyone is willing to travel to New Gudauri, but these guys came without any fuss.
ARHSHLEH
We contacted them about replacing a broken balcony window. They got back to us quickly, the master came to take measurements the same day, and five days later the glass was installed — took about an hour. Service was excellent, response time was excellent, and the way the team communicates compared to others in this space is in a league of its own.
Vlad Puzrov

Aleksei Gelashvili
Called them for window adjustment. The master came with an assistant and they adjusted everything as well as the hardware would allow. Also replaced the seals. Knew his job, had all the right tools and solid experience. Very happy, thank you.
Ricsil Ricsil
Booked a PVC window repair — the master came quickly and on time, sorted the problem fast and cleanly. Being able to arrange everything by text on Telegram is a huge plus.
Eduard Kim
Came to them with a problematic balcony door. They responded quickly, arranged a convenient time, and fixed it fast. All I had to do was pay — the team handled everything else. Recommended!
Frequently asked questions about window glass replacement in Tbilisi
Replacing a single-pane glazing unit starts from 250 GEL, a balcony door unit from 400 GEL. CityHandyman gives the exact price after the on-site measurement. The measurement visit is free.
The master takes measurements in 30 minutes, the unit is manufactured in 3–7 days, and installation takes 1–2 hours. CityHandyman completes the full job — from measurement to finished window — in about a week.
A CityHandyman master arrives for the measurement within 2–3 hours of the request. CityHandyman covers all districts of Tbilisi.
In most cases the frame stays in place — the master removes the beading, takes out the old unit, and fits the new one into the same frame. The master replaces the frame only if the profile is physically damaged or warped.
A glazing unit is a sealed assembly of two or three panes. When one pane is damaged, the master replaces the entire unit.
Condensation between the panes means the seal has failed and moisture has entered the unit. The master replaces the glazing unit entirely — the seal cannot be restored from the inside.
A glazing unit needs replacing in two cases: a crack or broken pane, or condensation between the panes. A draught from the window points to a worn seal or misaligned sash — the master fixes this without replacing the unit.
A single-pane unit has two sheets of glass with one air cavity (4-16-4) — the standard for most flats in Tbilisi. A double-pane unit has three sheets and two cavities (4-10-4-10-4) and provides better sound and cold insulation — CityHandyman recommends it for windows facing a busy street.
CityHandyman works every day from 9:00 to 21:00, including weekends. Requests are accepted via WhatsApp and Telegram around the clock — the master agrees a convenient time with the client.
